PLUS POINTS
Offline button delay fixed around 90 percent.
A handful of new commentary lines.
A host of new player animations.
Master League improved for better immersion.
Improved al on Top Player and Superstar
Pace of game is fast and fluid.
NEGATIVE POINTS
Old commentary still present from ps2 days , needs revamping.
Player Textures and crowd textures very poor for next gen.
A lot of old animations still present which need removing.
Referees way to lenient.
Doing skills is not fun , animations are to slow resulting in poor flow.
Defence on corners still only stand in 2 set patterns, needs changing.
Goalkeepers parry to many balls and still let close range efforts in every time.
Finesse shot is overpowered and keepers cant save them.
No Handballs still ( It's part of football ).
Official Champions League group line ups not present by default , why ?.
Online is still full of latency , disconnections , slow gameplay.
Net code is still years out of date which causes the latency , Konami know this but wont fix it , why ?.
Myclub is barely fun , straight copy of Fifa UT just designed differently but same business model , Master League online was more fun and community enjoyed it more and did not have to spend extra money in game.
Official Offline Transfers delayed by 1 month and 2 weeks after official launch. Konami blatantly lied to community when they said it would be a day 1 patch. Terrible attitude towards a dedicated community and unprofessional to lie to customers so blatantly.
General Thoughts
Finally I would like to talk about my general thoughts on the PES situation. As an avid fan of PES and football in general along with the very dedicated PES community I simply wish to see a game that runs well offline and just as well online. In today's modern age with the technology not only at our disposal but more importantly at developers disposal there is no real excuse why we cant have both of what I mentioned. The Xbox One along with PS4 are very capable pieces of hardware and as seen in many other games on the systems , online gameplay can be a fun , latency free experience if done correctly. With PES it still to this day with PES 2016 is a bad latency filled experience over p2p using an out of date net code that simply runs poor on modern hardware. Konami know this and have known this since they made the jump to Xbox 360 & PlayStation 3 but again to this day with the next generation consoles out they simply don't want to , don't have funds too , don't have the team too write the net code again or provide dedicated servers in partnership with Microsoft which would be more than viable. This begs the question , If Konami have known about the online problems for so long and have not put cash into fixing the issues then do they really care about the franchise , the community or on-line gameplay in general ?. The crazy thing about them not fixing the issues whilst knowing the problem is that if PES run smoothly , latency free etc like Fifa for example online I honestly believe they would not only have a huge seller on there hands again , but would get a huge player base. The game is not perfect offline don't get me wrong but it is a fantastic fun , speedy game to play and that's what people want they want fun. If money is a problem behind not fixing the net code or being able to supply dedicated servers then kickstart it , simple. The PES community is passionate and dedicated enough to donate to such things if it means getting our beloved game back to the dizzy heights it used to be at and deliver a great online experience. Start having conversations when people give feedback on social media instead of copy and pasting the same reply repeatedly , stop lying to the community. All we want is honesty and dedication from the team behind PES and a game that lives up to the expectations we have for it.
I will leave my thoughts there on behalf of myself and the PES community and simply hope you listen to us. If any other PES players / Fans wish to leave comments , feedback , suggestions , thoughts on the game feel free to comment below.
